Apple Pressing, Bottling & Pasteurising
Pasteurised and bottled apple juice (keeps for at least one year). Your apples, pressed, bottled & pasteurised: £2.50 per bottle (75cl).
You can bring your apples to us, or if you would like to press large volumes, we’ll bring the press to you.
We will wash (if muddy), crush and juice your apples. Then filter and bottle them into glass 75cl bottles. Your bottles will then be heated in a pasteuriser to ensure they last in the bottle for up to a year (or longer if you’re not fussy!).
You’ll end up with a pure and delicious juice that is full of goodness and is incomparable to anything sold in a supermarket. Great for gifts, impressing your guests, or drinking all year round.
Please note there is a £20 minimum charge due to setup/clean-down time.
Apple Pressing
We’ll press your apples into juice for you. You supply your own containers: £1 per litre.
You can bring your apples to us, or if you would like to press large volumes, we’ll bring the press to you.
You’ll end up with a delicious, pure (unpasteurised) apple juice that can be made into cider or vinegar, frozen, or must be consumed within three days.
Equipment Hire
Our state-of-the-art apple mulcher, hydro-press, pasteuriser and bottler will make short work of juicing and is available for hire: £60 per day.
Once you use an electric crusher and hydro-press, you’ll never go back to manually pressing your apples!
Donating Your Apples
Is your garden covered in apples? Are you constantly clearing them up to mow the lawn but can’t bare throwing away perfectly edible fruit?
If you’re not interested in turning your apples into juice, but hate to see them go to waste, we can sometimes make use of good apples (without rot or holes).
Please call us beforehand to check if your apples are required (in case we have an abundance). Please note that whilst we are sometimes happy to make use of spare apples, we cannot pay for apples, we do not swap apples for free juice and we do not provide a free apple clearing/disposal service.
